Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. An agent saw her talent and encouraged her to join the business of entertainment. At the end of the day, after some thought and contemplation, she made the decision to quit school to start a new career in the entertainment industry. The actress was unhappy with her performance in the movie Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To show her skills she appeared in a variety of low-budget movies to enhance her acting. It wasn't an easy path for this actor however, her determination and perseverance did not go unrewarded. Following her stellar appearance during Training Day that her career was able to begin taking off.
